Montauk

This weekend a few of my girlfriends and I headed out for a few days of sun and fun in Montauk, NY. We stayed at the East Deck Motel in the Ditch Plains area. It's an old funky motel that's been around since the 50's and it's right on the beach. We sunned.. we swam.. napped, read, went for walks. It was super relaxing and definitely made me feel like summer is indeed in full swing!!

First Day of Summer!

Summer officially starts today and that means it's the longest day of the year. Take advantage of it by spending some extra time in your garden (if you're so lucky to have one), or going for a long walk after work... to me, summer means lazy days with a good book in the park; bare feet; fruit and veggies straight from the farm; camping trips; floating effortlessly in the ocean; outdoor concerts and bbq's; eating outdoors as much as possible... what does it mean to you?

A Cape Cod wedding

Such a simple and beautiful wedding. It was small and intimate and ultimately reflective of the 2 lovely people who's love was celebrated...

The Cape

This weekend we headed up to the Cape for the wedding of some dear friends of ours. We lucked out with (mostly) beautiful weather despite a rather ominous forcast (1" of hail?!). We rented a charming rustic cottage with some friends and spent our time riding bikes along the coast, eating lobster rolls, and strolling the cute streets of P-town. It was so pretty and it really made me feel like summer is officially here.
