Winter Solstice

Happy 1st day of winter! Those of us on the East Coast were walloped with a massive snow storm this weekend that left NYC with a foot of snow! The city under a blanket of snow is just magical. For once everything is serene and quiet. There is a stillness in the city. It is unbelievably peaceful. We rode the storm out at home with some friends, a log on the fire, and lot's of egg nog.
