My friend Sian has a new book out about how to make some of the darling stuffed animals that she makes so effortlessly. The instructions are clearly written and are accompanied by her sweet illustrations.

Yesterday we visited a beautiful farm about an hour from home. They had all sorts of animals and games and a few rides (ponies and wagons). We went with our close friends, Isaac and Maggie and their little one, Lily (Veda's bestie). The farm was huge and you could hitch rides on a hay wagon from one garden to another to pick to your hearts content. We picked gorgeous bouquets of flowers as well as our pumpkins for the season. The girls ran wild and got filthy and had a good old time. It was a perfect afternoon..
