Rolling with it

Did you hear that collective sigh late last week as the NE got nailed with yet another major snow storm? It was a doozie.. lasting over almost 2 full days and leaving us with over a foot in the city itself. You know what though? It was lovely. Really, everything was covered in a big fluffy blanket of pure white snow. I decided to just roll with it. What other choice is there?

from my office. usually the empire state building is in clear view. you can't even see a ghost of it here..

all of this snow gave me the perfect excuse to hang out here this weekend... napping, drinking tea, catching up with old friends and reading. can't do that on a pretty summer day.. ;)
