Lisa and her family came over the next day for brunch at our house. It was a beautiful day so we filled the wagon up with water and stripped the kids down and let them have at it. It was so cute the way they all played together..

Last week we had a visit from my dear old friend Jamie and her sweet 8 month old boy, Beckett. It was SO great to have them here. Veda and Beckett were quite cute together. They played and hugged and Veda kept trying to feed him his bottle (or steal it when he wasn't looking). She called him "baby" which is hilarious to me. It was so fun for both of us to have the company. Being home with a baby is very different when you have someone around to share the day to day with (and have an actual adult conversation with!). It really made me realize how much I need to find some mommy friends here..
One day we took them both to Veda's babysitter and headed into the city
to meet our friend Lisa and check out the Schiaparelli and Prada exhibit
at the Met, which was AMAZING and so inspiring. We also saw Tomás Saraceno's "Cloud City" on the roof- which was super cool. After, we strolled
through Central Park and went to lunch. It was such a fun day!
